The “Amirli” series, directed by Ahmad Ibrahim Ahmad and produced by Amir Mahdi Porooziri, was simultaneously broadcast worldwide. Starting from last night at 20:00, it was exclusively aired on the “FilmNet” platform.

The “Amirli” series focuses on the story of the liberation of the city of Amirli in Iraq from ISIS forces. The Shia-majority city of Amirli was besieged by ISIS forces in 2014, and ultimately, after two months, Iraqi forces, with the help of a group of Iranian forces under the command of Martyr General Qasem Soleimani, succeeded in breaking the siege of the city and driving ISIS forces out of the area.

The producer of the Amirli series, Amir Mahdi Porooziri, is an Iranian director, producer, and screenwriter who previously aired the “Mino” series directed by him on Channel One in 1397.

The cast of the Amirli series consists of artists from Iran, Iraq, and Syria.

Mostafa Zamani, a famous Iranian actor, plays the lead role in this series as a character named Dr. Rafid, who, along with his family, is forced to relocate to the city of Amirli. Mostafa Zamani, a cinema and television actor, has returned after five years with a new series to the home network. However, he has starred in several feature films during these years but has not appeared in any series.

His latest series was “Kargadan,” directed by Kiarash Asadi Zadeh, which aired on the home network. Zamani has acted in series such as “Blue Whale,” “Shahrzad,” “Dar Cheshm-e Baad,” and “Yousuf Payambar.” This is his first international project.

His performance in the Amirli series has caught the attention of Iranian audiences. He speaks in the original Arabic version of this series, which has been dubbed in the version released by FilmNet.
